Last official school day of our JC lives. Thought I'd be rather upset but somehow I was rather happy. Weird. This closure marks the beginning of a whole new chapter in our lives. (after a levels lar.)

Thank you 06s34 for making these 2 years such an enjoyable and memorable experience for me. Despite all that's happened, I love the class as it is and i have no regrets and I wouldn't ask for more. Although we may not be an ideal class blah but that's what makes us special i guess.

i decided to post. and yah. here goes.
all the stuff here are just my opinions. yup.
i agree we kinda are getting scolded by almost every teacher.
haha.
but the kinda effects the scoldings have on me. are different

lets take the two recent examples.
math and chem
truthfully speaking. i deserved to be scolded for EVERY single subject coz i kinda neglected(to put it in a nice way) my work for the entire time i've been in this sch.
yup.
but anyways. even though i have no right to comment i will not acknowledge this fact and stubbornly comment.

well u see when monica scolded us. and me particularly for not having even my notes on the table. i was like ok. yeah. i know. we kinda do this quite often(i do.) and we sorta deserve this.
i almost felt sorry that i din do my homework(this is so politically incorrect).
yeah well. i sorta felt the scolding was. kinda acceptable.
but when the math teacher scolded us.
i was totally incensed. if vulgarities were permitted. they would've been all over the place.
once he started his tirade. i immediately started to pack my stuff. i mean.
yeah. you're a teacher. you're human. you have the right to get angry.
but to take it out on ur students is just wrong. u ask us why u have to make so much sacrifices. why u have to take so much nonsense from us.
well. to tell u the truth.
from the day u became a teacher u shld've known what you're up against.
thats why teachers are valuable. and when i say teachers. i speak only of those who are worthy of that name.
oh wells.
haha. ok enough of that.
so yeah it kinda works in two ways. if the scolding is appropriate we learn. if it isn't it just messes ppl up and make them even more difficult to work with.

yah and i stress again that this is entirely my own viewpoint.

Woah, looks like this blog is dying yet again. no worries, today got stuffs to blog. 06s34 chalet!!

THE MEETING PLACE
When i meet the "rest" at the interchange at like 130, i was dam disappointed lo. Why? Because "rest" is just wan yoong only. i ordered food for like 15 ppl, and daniel even asked me to x2 to sotong, stingray and satay. If no one came, i die. haha, anyway, both of we started calling everyone else. Fortunately, everyone's reply was

"i'll come for bbq"

"will come tonight"

heng. meantime, me and wanyoong started shopping for bbq stuffs. Debated over what butter to buy, charcoal, starters, etc. haha, i usually try to get the cheapest one=) After that, monster came along, and we went to the chalet on monster's mom' car=) (big 7 seater car)

Fast forward...............

THE BBQ
BBQ! We attempt starting the fire at 6, and woo woo! Fire successfully started in 20 min. Record breaking. Monster set a target, to have the first chicken wing cooked by 630, but only made it at 645. And then, we ate!

Then after that, Bryan, 1-0 (yeelin) , joanne, huiting, verna came over! woo, ppl at chalet reached 15! Haha, still rmb them surrounding the pit cooking marshmallow. For the lazy old me, i just gobble the cold marshmallow down my throat=)

THE FOOD

Prepared by Daniel's mom. Very the nice, very sweet! I assume his mom's marination is the reason for his size=)

Sinful!! You have any idea how much cheese it contains? You practically bbq until it split sideway, then all the cheese would OOZE out. Ah, nice for ppl like monster and hui hui, but too much for ppl like me and daniel le

Otah (premium)
WTF! Kena conned by BBQwholesale! The otahs are soft, wet and soggy even after cooking over the pit. Experiment repeated using microwave oven yield the same result. bleh! Premium some more. Pui Yee, help us complain! And denise ah, you wanted premium de, then still nv come=(

THE GAMES
Of course, when boredom sets in, sick games result. Zara introduced to us the water-drinking game. Whoever who breaks a certain rule drink up. Woah, you'll feel bloated like dunno what. Special sympathy goes to daniel who kena sabo and diao up to 8 cups of water

Not forgeting, PLAYSTATION. Costa sand apparant ban console in their chalet...Dam the rules man. We played metal slug, winning eleven, marvel vs capcom, gt racing, silent hill 2 (unexpectedly boring and senseless), etc

THE MOVIES
Of course, resources must be maximised! Since we have a DVD player staring right at us, why not use it! We watched movies like the italian job, hot chick, dodgeball. Survival at Costa Sand! as we go deeper and deeper into the night, more and more of us surrendered to the dark dimensions of our mind: dreams. by 4 plus, everyone was asleep le. maybe because many of us still got to go to school or workplaces. sad

THE CONCLUSION

1. Never order premium otah from BBQwholesale
2. Never allow schoolwork or other work to clash with chalets
3. Cheap stuffs do exist. The 3D2N chalet costs only $5.25

After months of brain-squeezing, draft printing, late night chionging, PW has finally ended with a climatic and dramatic finish: OP and I&R. One "A" level subject down man, (and 2 for the chinese people! good job). But now, absence of PW meeting has made life somewhat different again. Other commitments of everyone are pulling everyone away again. As a class, we seldom met together anymore, which is kind of sad.

Woah, willy style is difficult to imitate. Anyway, after wed's OP, the "class" (12 people of s34)went to eat pizza hut! Not the hut itself, but pizza and pasta! We talk about a lot of nonsense, like Jonathan's "yes/no" question

the all too heavy lidded feeling that does not bode too well for this post.

well the past few weeks of this term have been hectic.
been crazy. mad rushing this rushing that. lives were madly busy and getting even busier as each day passes. wonder how we're coping now. hope everyone's doing fine. =). yep. so 06s34 finally printed the long awaited, highly acclaimed class pullover. yep credit to puiyee for desiging it. it looks really good =). hahas. and we shall put it to good use in lts and all cold places(like next to szehan -.-). btw. clarence robin and wilson tried an experiment that day. i'm sure all of u witnessed it. yes. it was the will hoods be accepted in lt5 experiment. and we found to our delight that they will. but unfortunately for us it was quite the experience,imagine three ppl in the front row wearing hoods. totally attracting attention. very cult lookish. lol. at least from the back it was. like three spectres sitting in the middle of the lt. hahas. totally nonsensical.

People.. this is puiyee.. updating you guys about the sweaters again. I'm sorry it takes so long but I'm busy and I know all you guys are busy too and i hope you'd understand.. and each time I have to go all the way to fareastplaza just to ask about something and all that. Its not exactly very convenient for me as I don't exactly live in orchard road and I don't exactly shop there often.

K. I said previously that the sweater sizes there's L and XL right, now the guy says that if I want different sizes its quite difficult for him cos different sizes would mean different sweaters from different suppliers so the sweaters may be different. Its best to compromise 1 size for everyone. Makes life easier for me too. Anyway, I'll be going back to school on the 19th june. k duh.. for econs makeup. That's for H2 so for H1 people, if you guys not coming in the morning to see the sample(for XL), I'll just go ahead with it and assume you're fine with it cos I'll probably make a trip to fareast after that to pay the deposit and stuff already. And actually, there's no difference between L and XL. the width and all that. I compared already.. when I was at the shop at fareast.. Its all the same size exactly, just that L is perhaps about 2 inches shorter. So its no difference actually when you put it on. yup. And I hope the design turns out ok. I'm quite worried that it'll turn out disastrous. Anyway, the price of each sweater will be $36 and I need to pay a 50% deposit before they'll start making the sweaters..

So, everyone please bring the $36 on 19th June!!

ok.. its been a long time since ive posted. seems so long ago since ive ever stepped into this blog.

anyway so many people are away this june.. we have bryan in taiwan. zara, daniel, wanyoong plus plus people going to clic camp. we have the odac people going for their ot and others going away for retreats and camps which i am anaware of. lol
By the way, when bryan came back, he smsed me asking if we finished revision already. Then he told me he was afraid that we have already mugged in the first week. wow.. i was kinda shocked coz who in the right mind would have started in the first week let alone finish revision. then i realised we're in VJ.. smart people and muggers haven.. haiz...

So the past few weeks have been really really busy and we managed to squeeze in three! class outing or lunches within two weeks. Orgasmic...and i will upload the photos later.. coz im kinda lazy now. Majestia was great! and on behalf of the band people, would like to thank those who paid and those who crashed. :)

so that was one week of band.. then came the first week of school holls.. shirlyn and i had soem string ensemble concert to play in and thankfully none of you bought tickets coz it was really not worth it..so thats another week of horning/clarineting.
Oh, the string ensemble conductor asked me to play in RI string chamber orchestra as a guest player.. kewl sial...hahaz.

So. after these two events, throw in all the TIP meeting bryan and me had to learn some dance which i heard was koped from SAJC, you have a very very tired and worned out me. Wan yoong! can teach me how to dance properly? coz its very cheem...

then lastly i went for my church camp where the odac people complained was nth compared to their OT. zzzzz... i didnt get to study there at all lah.. was doign loads of stuff there. And the little kids started calling me chen weilian! You know when Bryan and Co. started calling me weilian it got kinda irritating when you feel that is so not true. But in church camp i found a new definition of irritating. The little kids starts to telling you to close your eyes and sing "tong hua".. and asking for your autograph and saying your gf is kelly. too much entertainment news little kids read nowadays. Furthermore they started to tell everyone's mum that im chen weilian and even told my mum that i was chen weilian.. omg...

Anyway i saw my church friend have his Raffles class of 2005 pullover.. so cool. and i was thinking to myself.. next year ill have my class pullover to show off too!! muahahahaah. When will it be out???? i desperately need it to...wear.

Mok's mock exam will not be a mockery we hope. And the only thing i know happenign on 17th june is SWO concert. but Zara aint into band so im guessing it has nth to do with it.. aahahzz. k that was lame.

and what did i achieve in the past one week?
i managed to come to school EVERYDAY! WOahhhhhh.
and never studied much at all. if u could say doing 1 maths tutorial is considered studying.

Anyway, I'm blogging about the class sweater thing.. I am so so so so so so so so so times infinity freaking sorry that its taking so so so so so so times infinity freaking long... Ok.. You all can scold me and stuff lar.. really sorry.. and I'm no longer making the sweater with Robin's friend.. Then this other place at fareast which wanyoong recommended, they do not have brown sweaters and they say nowhere else will have brown sweaters too.. And the design I showed them and they said that its quite a lot of colours and complicated so it'll be expensive.. like 40+++ and stuff. So I hope you guys won't mind, I redesigned the thing so its less colourful n hopefully will still be rather nice.. and it wont be too complicated to print? I'll bring the design to the guy and let him quote a price again first before reconfirming with u all k.. and I saw the other colour sweaters they have.. I kinda decided on grey.. Its quite dark grey kind.. but more to the medium grey than to black.. yup. I hope you all won't mind.. But actually they have other colours like olivegreen(like the army kind..abit of tj-ish but i think qt nice with our beige uniform n all but i also think some people may not like so ya..), red(which is superduperbright and even I cant stand tho i like bright colours), navy blue(they said but didnt show me cos they didnt have a sample at tt time), black, white, light blue(which is not very nice) and I think that's all. So yup. I zi4 zuo4 zhu3 zhang1 and decide on the colour and design k? It'll be about 30+++ bucks each.. i'm really sorry.. is it ok? if no please tell me k? yup. if the price n stuff is ok then i'll try to confirm asap.. and tell me the sizes u all want? or i decide for u all? the person's [professional(if printing sweaters is a professional thing)] advice is that get either L or XL cos sweaters bigger better mar.. then only smaller/shorter people take L? cos not very big actually. then only really tiny people take M? I dunno.. lol.. and most people should take XL.. blahblah.. that's what he said lar.. So how how how? I just decide or am I supposed to ask everyone what size u all want?

my first post here.. guess i have the time this week to make a post here.. this final week of term 2 seems to be very relaxing, i wonder why.. must be cos there's not much work.. either that or i'm just wasting my time away until the holidays where i can chiong, hopefully..
we kinda ponned bio lec today cos we were enjoying ourselves so much that we couldn't bear to leave parkway.. it was my first time going out on a tues cos i usually have chinese during one of the 2 periods but since oral wasn't over yet and we already finished ours, we had self- proclaimed that it would be 2 luxurious free periods.. we went pasta mania, bubble tea and mph and spent hours calling wan yoong horrible names which i dare not name here..
i learnt from friends, whose gp tutor also happens to be mr kan, that his nickname is nasai.. u know, kannasai..

Anyway, this post is just to update things happening in 06s34...

Ah, everyone got their PW first GPP back. And according to MMW, all of us did a very bad job=( boo. i don like PW at all, and i hope others feel the same too...

Chem and bio SPA are over for the first half of the class. The rest have to jia you le. The bio SPA very easy de la, just cutting "something yellow and long" into many many pieces=P
opps, did i say anything???

Did my GP compre yesterday. Sian. Looks like i'll stuck in the "GP pro club" for quite some time. [btw, jie ying was promoted out of the club le, yea=)]

Blog-hopping today. Realised that many people are posting sad, depressing stuffs, as usual again. Just like to tell you guys out there a "theory" that goes like that...

ok. so we've finally decided on brown. and here's the kinda finalised colour thingy. Its kinda orange cos I like orange so I'm really sorry if you hate orange or something. Hopefully there isn't anyone who hates the colour too much to hate this design. yup. =)).

ok... this is suppose to be a class blog but nvm i will still blog about my lame pathetic life.
As we can all see from the title, tmr is mon. Really weird how evey student seem to dread mon, maybe the ministry of error could actually take notice of it and DO SMTH BOUT IT! Since election is coming, there may still be hope. ok, no more political blogging.
Anyway mon really sucks. We start the day with chem lect, follow by chem prac, then there is some chem tutorial squeeze in somewhere too. Really great, as if there is not enough chem in one day. There is bio mock spa tmr too. Identifying anomalous data... what if ur whole report is anomalous??? Then what do u do then??? Hope is not something to do with agar blocks. Really hate that experiment, timings went totally bonkers.
Well, if it pleases u ppl, there is a soccer match tmr!! Yup.. VJ vs NJ. It may get pretty interesting. Still hate mon though.
Today is a typical lazy sunday for me. Feels like a lazy sunday anyway. Hmk getting piled up in some inconspicuous spot of my room, while i sit in front of my com, blowing my nose. Yes, i am sick again. And as a reminder, i am not ALWAYS sick. i was fine on fri!!! ok.. shall stop crapping.
Anyway Dance concert was great!!! WE"RE PROUD OF YOU!! WAN YOONG!! yup, she should be sleeping away, enjoying her duely deserved break (sunday at least)

okaye! here are the different coloured versions of the designs i did! didn't do a brown one. and for orange, i actually meant that shade of orange. is it ugly? ohwell. and i don't mind blue actually. Think its quite nice what. i dont want brown though. and the green and grey ones are just for fun lar. k.. seeya!

class outing was so fun! but quite few ppl came...we went to some ulu place at marina bay. and everyone was wearing aquila shirts! omg i want! then we learnt cooking using the steamboat thing. cooking so fun! hahaha.
